Freshmen Defeat Cardigan 1-0; Schedule Updates

The Freshmen have a number of big rivals in soccer.  All of their Division One opponents are strong and deep, and over the years we have developed some excellent competitive relationships.  But during that same time period, no win is more prized than a victory over our neighbors from Cardigan Mountain School.  We play each other twice every year, home and home, and the game are always hard fought and highly competitive.  Boasting  roster full of good athletes, many of them skilled internationals, Cardigan has established an edge in the victory column over the years.  Thus, Wednesday's 1-0 victory at Dresden was one to be cherished.  Quincy McBride (remind me, where did he go to school last year?) hit a great goal late in the game, and the Marauder defense, backed by Joey Perras in goal, kept coming up with big stops.  We'll look forward to a full report from the coaching staff in the near future.  Congrats, Freshmen!
