Reserves Roll at Kimball Union, 8-1

Wednesday was a beautiful afternoon on the grounds of KUA.  There was a slight breeze as well on the perfect grass and pitch.
The squad was small, but quality. As Rob said, "Do you have 11 players including a goalie?.  That's enough." It ended up being 14. The Hanover pressure was fast and fluid. The attacking duo of Harry Olszewski and Moritz Klinke quickly found openings on the wide field of KUA.  Daniel Felde became a primary target who quickly took advantage of the passes and made repeated dangerous runs down the right flank.

It was our sole forward who finally broke through by making one of his best goals of the season. After collecting an assist from Moritz, Tenzing Rumrill shot from outside the 18 on the right side of the box that soared past numerous defenders, curved away from the goalie, and into the upper right of the net. A few minutes later he would repeat this feat after winning the ball at the top of the box where the goalie managed to get a hand on it.  The pace of the shot though forced the ball through his hands into the left corner of the net.

KUA responded with a score when their player made it through the line and let go a rocket about 12 yards out that hit the crossbar and bounced in.  That would be it,  though. Andrew Enelow scored the third goal with classic through ball from Harry where he finished with deadly accuracy.  The fourth goal was created from a high looping pass from Harry as well which created an uncertainty on the keeper's part that Andrew deftly capitalized on.

The second half opened sleepily that was foreshadowed by our equally lackluster pregame cheer.  The team rallied from the funk though and soon enough the pressure came from both Aidan Connolly and Daniel which resulted in a goal for Daniel. Tenzing let go a shot that just bounced of the post and into an oncoming Felde who calmly finished the shot. The next goal would be a Andrew's third goal and first hat trick of the season. This came off a cross from the left side from the ever working Felde. The final goal of the game would come from another classic cross from Felde where Andrew Parker made a heads up play and and appeared in the goal mouth in time to put the ball home.

The defense of Caleb, Calloway,  Deveon Martin,  Wilson Rimberg, Avery Wallis, Kezar Berger, Hayden Hatfield with Lucas Brock at midfield and Eric Selzer in goal combined to make the goal secure regardless of how tired the midfield was.  It was a very sold performance throughout as the team heads toward its final week of the season, with a Saturday game for the young guys at Souhegan.
