Schedule Updates for the Week Ahead

We have two very full days in the books, and preseason has gone very well.  The round robin tournament has produced a series of well-played games, and we shrugged off today's rain and accomplished a lot.

There are a few updates to the preseason schedule in the coming days:

Wednesday training will begin at 10:00, and follow the normal pattern, ending at Noon.  There will be an early session for all goalkeepers beginning at 4:00 p.m., and the afternoon practice will follow the normal schedule from 5:00 - 7:00 for everyone else.

The Thursday morning session will begin at 10:00, and end at Noon.  The Freshman scrimmage (for ALL freshmen), will be at Dresden from 4:00 - 6:00.  This is a change in both time and venue.  A Varsity scrimmage against Fall Mountain High School will kick off at 5:00 at the HHS turf.  Players should report to the turf at 4:00 with white shorts and socks.  The roster will be listed Wednesday evening, and will be significantly larger than the eventual final Varsity roster.

Friday's schedule is the same as previously listed, with a morning session for all at Dresden from 10:00 - Noon, an upperclass scrimmage at the HHS turf from 4:00 - 6:00,  and the Alumni vs. Varsity game kicking off at 6:00.

We will take Varsity and JV squads (still not the final teams) to a jamboree at Keene State College on Saturday.  The bus will leave at 9:30 a.m.  First games kick off at 12:05, and the last games kick off at 2:25.   Players may return home with parents if they provide a note in advance to Coach Grabill.  The Varsity team will play Keene, Hopkinton and Stevens.  The JV will play the Hopkinton and Keene JVs, and the Littleton Varsity.  The final Varsity team will be named Saturday night.

The Varsity will scrimmage Oyster River on Sunday at 4:00 at the HHS turf.  There will be a barbeque for players from both teams after the match.

Subvarsity tryouts will continue on Monday and Tuesday mornings at Dresden from 10:00 - Noon.  The Varsity will leave for their annual trip the Windridge camp on Monday morning at 8:00, and return Tuesday at Noon.  They will play at Lebanon at 4:00 that afternoon.
