Reserves Ready to Re-Launch: Host Con-Val Tomorrow

After a week of training and sorting, the Reserve team has been boiled down to two squads that will each play two of the next four games.  Our working names for the two are wildly imaginative: "Veterans" and "New Guys".  These names describe the rough parameters, but we'll be fluid on a game to game basis, to allow for schedule conflicts.  Tomorrow it's the "Veterans", although for positional balance there will be several freshmen dressing.  Those who don't suit up tomorrow will play in Monday's game against Sharon Academy.  We'll assess this during the week, and after these first four games under this system, we'll continue to tinker.  We like the flexibility.  For example, Liam is a Veteran, but he's working Friday.  So he plays Monday.  Tage is a new guy, but he can't come Monday, so he dresses tomorrow.  The lucky ones are Andrew E. and Eric S. As goalkeepers, they will dress for every game, and dabble as field players.

The bus to Dresden will leave at 3:45, as usual.  Kickoff against Con-Val is at 4:30.  Players should wear all white.
